The board consists of nine members selected by school districts, cities and
incorporated towns in the county and appointed by the County Judge and
Quorum Court.
Members serve three-year staggered terms of office, with each
expiring term to expire on the first Monday of June of each year, or until
his or her successor is selected or appointed and qualified.
